Well, here we go with another disappointing week. I seem to have really hit the wall, I didn’t gain any weight, but .2 pounds is just the difference in water weight pretty much. I’m thnking I need to change up, so starting today, I’m cutting back on the extra bread. I can’t believe I just said that, but yes, no more bread. I had routinely put that into my diet because I LOVE bread, and seemed to still be losing weight while eating it. Ho hum, so long my tasty friend, it’s been nice knowing you.
On the upside, I keep getting a little more adventurous and finding more of the Nutrisystem meals that I like. Mushroom risotto is yummy, and the Mashed Potato lunch was surprisingly filling given that the portion was so small. Sticks to your ribs I guess. I’ve also determined that I love the strawberry protein shake about as much as any other single item. Reminds me of Strawberry Quik from when I was a kid, minus the sugar rush and subsequent headache anyways.
Going on a long walk tonight, we’ll see if the kids are up for it, it’s just been so dang humid lately. I think I came close to passing out while doing the yard this weekend, and it was “Only like 92 degrees”, but that humidity gets to me. Don’t know why they say you get used to the heat, though, I’ve been in Texas for almost 30 years and still can’t take too much of it.
Okay, so no bread for me for the next couple of weeks and maybe I can confuse my system enough to drop some more weight. I’m going to get very excited when I finally get under that 220 pound mark again, it’s been about 3 years since I’ve been that light, and I’m ready for that feeling again. Already back in the “skinny jeans”, which everyone keeps asking “are those new?” No, I’m just not as fat, thanks for asking…. Back at it, see you next week same Bat-Time, sam Bat-Channel.
