Jason's Weekly Nutrisystem Check In
Well, had a good week, stayed on
point, and ALMOST hit my goal. Still a
win, not feeling bad about it at all.
Now down a total of 20.2 pounds!
That’s right boys and girls, over 20 pounds down and feeling great. Half way to my total goal, and seeing some
light at the end of the tunnel.
I have to
say that one of the weirdest things is that I now look forward to eating
breakfast. Sounds silly, but normally
the thought of food in the morning is very unappetizing. I now start off with my coffee (I told you I
was not cutting that out, would’ve been a deal-breaker), and make my breakfast
after the morning drive to work. On a
rare occasion I will actually eat breakfast at the house, but that’s the
exception since I’m never actually hungry in the mornings. I’ve come a long way though, since I used to
not eat sometimes until almost noon, which I know isn’t good for you, but I
just never felt the urge to eat earlier.
Now by noon I would have had coffee, breakfast, a snack, and lunch. Most days that comes out to about 800
calories give or take. That’s a far cry
from the 900 calories I used to take in with an Egg McMuffin, hash browns, and
an orange juice from you know where.
I’m setting
my goal back at another 4 pounds for the week. While it seems daunting, a goal shouldn’t be
easy to achieve, right? Still got a lot
of work to do around the house and in the yard, and I’ve got to say, those seem
to be the most satisfying “work-outs”.
Every weekend I mow, trim, seed, water, blow-off, etc. two different
yards. I’m usually exhausted after I get
done, but I go at it hard like I’m preparing for the Yard Boy Olympics, and in
the end I win Gold!
Well,
here’s to another week of taking it day by day, meal by meal, and losing more
weight. Trying a few different items
this time around like the Mushroom Risotto, but I can’t give up on old
standbys. I don’t think I’ll ever get
tired of eating Cajun Style Chicken & Sausage with Rice or Chicken with
Dumplings. Normally chicken is my
fall-back choice, but these items are two of my favorites. The Chocolate Peanut Bar? Forget about it, I could eat that all
day! Good eating, and see you next week.

Just found this blog! Great to see a guys perspective on the Nutrisystem program. I don't really read to much about the men using it. Glad to hear it is working for you as well. Good luck on another 4 pounds this week.
