I always wonder if we are brushing their teeth long enough. I have heard before that the goal time should be 2 minutes of brushing.
When I started with Mompact as an Independent Consultant, I saw this thing called the Twooth Timer and thought it was just too cool. It is a timer that runs for 2 minutes and is shaped just like a tooth!!
Little Miss wanted to be the model this time :) We twisted the top of the tooth around to the 2 mark and proceeded to brush her teeth. She liked having her hand on it and hearing it ding. The ring on it was a little loud, but it is a great thing to help you focus and get some good brushing in during the 2 minutes.
I think she really liked looking at herself in the mirror too. Haha. Needless to say, she did attempt to brush her teeth for the full 2 minutes all while holding on to the Twooth Timer :) Little Man also likes using the Twooth Timer, but sometimes gets scared by the ringer since it is a little loud. I do love that it is getting them to sit and brush their teeth for longer periods of time.
You can purchase your own Twooth Timer from the Mompact Shop for $10.95 retail value.

I had no idea what Buzzy was until I went to the site and read a lot about. My youngest daughter is 16 and has terrible injection anxiety. Even blood work brings a lot of tears and fear. I would LOVE to try this for her. Is it available to everyone or just hospitals and doctor's offices? Wow!
Buzzy is simply a small vibrating bee with a unique ice pack. Put it near any sharp pain and it helps to ease the pain :)
Buzzy helps for pain relief especially injections and pokes.
I REALLY BELIEVE IN EXCELLENT DENTAL CARE AND IT IMPACTS OUR PHYSICAL HEALTH. I THINK THIS IS A WONDERFUL ITEM. IT IS THE WORST PART ABOUT THE DENTIST IS THE INJECTION POINT. AN ICE PACK WOULD BRING THE SWELLING AND PAIN TO A MINIMUM. THANKS:)
I had never heard of Buzzy. It sounds great for kids and maybe even some adults.
I didn't realize that you are supposed to brush your teeth for two minutes.
I was looking at the Buzzy ice pack that confuses the nerves to take pain away. I LOVE that for a kid also

I did not know that Buzzy is for pain relief and that it is easy to do!
didn't know vibrations would "trick away" pain, that's cool!
ME I COULD USE THE PAIN PACK BUT THE TOOTH THING THING IS CUTE AND THEN GET JOHN TO BBRUSH HIS TEEH
I've learned they help make it easier to give your kids shots.
I'd never heard of this product, it'd be great for my niece & nephews who have injection phobias. I had no idea that Distraction can decrease pain by up to 50%. AMAZING!
the buzzy has been proven for decreasing pain
thanks for the giveaway, this would be so great for my grandson
i learned According to the U.S. Surgeon General’s Report, more than 51 million school hours are lost each year to dental-related illness. Tooth decay is the single most common chronic childhood ailment – 5 times more common than asthma and 7 times more common than hay fever.
what i learned about buzzy is - Buzzy® is simply a small vibrating bee with a unique ice pack. Put it near any sharp pain, and presto! Using natural pain relief, Buzzy confuses your body's own nerves and distracts attention away, thereby dulling or eliminating sharp injection pain. In the same way that rubbing a bumped elbow helps, or cool running water soothes a burn, Buzzy® crowds out pain by sending stronger motions sensations down the nerves instead .
Buzzy is design to last through one child's entire immunizations series
Beestractors are a quick and handy way for nurses, teachers, doctors or parents to break a behavior spiral or take someone's mind off a painful procedure
This sounds like an awesome product. I had no idea such a thing existed til now. I learned that "Buzzy® is simply a small vibrating bee with a unique ice pack. Put it near any sharp pain, and presto! Using natural pain relief"...
I learned that "Experts recommend brushing your teeth for two minutes. A recent study found young adults spent less than 35 seconds brushing their teeth."
I didn't realize that Buzzy vibrating tricks the brain into taking away pain. And love that has a ice pack
